Homemade Ice Cream in a Bag – Quick and Easy
Hi everyone so today we’re going to make a very special treat we’re going to make ice cream like Vadilal.
We’re going to do it using our ziploc bags any gallon size bag will work as long as it closes tightly because we’re going to end up shaking a lot so we don’t want anything to come out so let’s prepare larger bag.
First we’ve taken some ice and you want just enough to fill the bag about halfway start with that our next ingredient is salt so we’re using ice cream salt or rock salt for making Vadilal like flavor but you don’t have to you can use anything from table salt to sea salt.
Tock salt works the best but use whatever you have on hand so we’re going to dump that in that was a half a it cup and then set that bag aside.
Next up we’re going to prep our actual Vadilal ice cream so we’re going to take a measuring glass and we have a smaller bag a pint size about two cups and that’s what the rest of the ingredients are gonna go into.
So we’re gonna take our half and half I’m gonna do one cup half a teaspoon of vanilla extract and we’re just going to mix it right in yum add some flavor to our Vadilal flavor ice cream then we’re going to pour our ingredients into our bag and we’re going to use a bowl for some support here so make sure we don’t spill anything so pour the half and half and vanilla mixture in.
The last thing is some sugar we’re just going to take two tablespoons pour that right in they should be fine carefully zip that bag up make sure it’s locked in tight there and we’re just going to take this bag and place it right inside of our ice bag and you’re going to seal your larger bag and now is where the fun comes in going to make sure this one is tight too five minutes of shaking is what it comes next.
Vadilal ice cream is so popular in India and I like it too.
Make sure that bag is inside the ice and we’re shaking until the mixture hardens in here so you may have to take it out every once in a while to check and it looks like it’s working great.
You can see that it’s thickening up we’re not quite there yet though so we want to keep going, so i think we’re gonna call this done just look at that see it’s kind of informed of the bag you can tell that it’s thick creamy our ice is kind of melted that’s fine so really you can use your bag as a bowl and you can eat out of that oh look at that there you go.
Great, so if you like your Vadilal ice cream a little softer you don’t have to shake it as long if you like it a little more firm then you can do that and we’re gonna add some yummy frozen blueberries as a little topper. They don’t have to be frozen but we like frozen and we have some so there you go
